Henri Honore Ple was a French sculptor born in Paris in 1853. He studied under Mathurin Moreau and exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1877, receiving an honorable mention in 1879. He was a member of the Society of French Artists and joined the Art Nouveau movement. He received a bronze medal at the 1900 World's Fair in Paris.
